ZMET is featured in a new book entitled I Is An Other: The Secret Life of Metaphor and How it Shapes the Way We See the World by James Geary.
The book examines metaphor from a number of different angles – including economics, business, science, politics, and psychology.
ZMET and Deep Metaphors are featured prominently in a chapter about metaphor in advertising. The author went through a ZMET interview with Richard Smith of OZA's global partner in the UK, BDRC. The topic was the state of the economy. Geary describes the pictures he collected, why he collected them, and even shows the digital image that emerged from the interview.
