Hannibal is a deep thinker who turns data into meaningful, impactful stories - with the help of the sharp minds at Olson Zaltman.  Across his years of experience at Olson Zaltman, he has managed studies including categories such as streaming media, consumer packaged goods, automotive, pharmaceutical, technology, innovation and more.

Turning marketing into both a study and practice, as a marketing leader, Hannibal has authored thought-provoking content that has been published in Medium, the GreenBook Blog and ESOMAR World, and appeared as a contributor on industry podcasts such as Happy Market ResearchThe New Mainstream, and The Brainy Business. He frequently speaks at industry conferences and university guest lectures as well. In 2019, he was awarded Best New Speaker at IIEX, for his talk “How to Sell Time Travel Convincingly.”

Prior to joining Olson Zaltman, Hannibal acquired experience in a number of research contexts, graduating summa cum laude with a BS in Food Science and Technology from Mississippi State University and with a Master’s in Commerce from the University of Virginia. His prior work includes policy analysis at the USDA, volunteer work in broadcasting, and scientific research at Cornell University’s Food Science lab. He also enjoys trivia, appearing as a contestant on “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” and achieving victory on ABC’s “The $100,000 Pyramid” in 2022.
