Ivan Sanchez’s career in research began while pursuing his undergraduate degree in Advertising at the University of Illinois. From there, Ivan’s curiosity for research began to blossom as he pursued a myriad of projects as a research assistant that spanned from the impact of immersion in virtual reality to eye-tracking studies that investigate flow state.

Ivan’s joined several competitive teams through the National Student Advertising Competition where he developed campaigns for Tinder, Adobe, and Oculus Quest 2. Ivan used qualitative and quantitative data to help shape the creative that summarized each campaign.

Ivan holds a B.S. in Advertising with minors in Public Relations and Media Production from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has had previous experience as an intern for a public relations agency and was a videographer for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at Illinois. He has a passion for the ancient world and the video game industry
