A native of Cleveland, Kacie graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a BA in Cultural and Linguistic Anthropology. Her interest in cultural studies also shone through her pursuits of two minors — one in Hispanic Studies and the other in Cinema and Media Studies. She split most of her time between playing for the women’s volleyball team at Penn and going to class at the university museum.

Kacie has joined the OZ team as an Insight Associate with an interest in translating the anthropological perspective into marketing. She is passionate about understanding lived realities and identity expression. In the past, she has worked as an indigenous issues researcher with Penn’s Cultural Heritage Center and as an intern for the Penn Museum.

In her spare time, you can spot Kacie finding different ways to be active, enjoying the local cafés, visiting museums, or watching documentaries.
