Keen observation and empathetic curiosity guide MaryGrace’s analysis and insights at Olson Zaltman. She graduated summa cum laude from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, where she earned her BA in English and Philosophy. Her research explored how narrative structures impact human identity and action. She enjoys encountering these ideas again in market research by studying human behavior and brand storytelling.

Before joining Olson Zaltman, MaryGrace worked as a librarian and writing consultant to help others use their voices most effectively. In her free time, she directed a local oral history project that enabled her to interview community members and preserve their stories in writing. She draws from these experiences her passions for connecting with others, crafting stories across mediums, and discovering quality information resources, all of which she uses to frame her work at OZ. Writing for freelance opportunities inspired her to explore the marketing world from “behind the curtain” - to dive into market research and study consumer psychology.

As an advocate for adult literacy, MaryGrace sits on the Young Professionals Board for the nonprofit organization First Literacy.
