Shelby’s curiosity for marketing dates back to an enterprising childhood: in addition to the classic neighborhood lemonade stand, she operated a painted rock business and sold homemade puzzle books. This interest followed her to the University of Pittsburgh, where she studied marketing and graduated summa cum laude.

Human stories drive Shelby’s passion for qualitative marketing research. Through empathetic listening, she has brought the voice of the consumer to life for clients across a wide range of industries including consumer packaged goods, automotive, pharmaceutical, and technology. 

Her favorite ways to spend free time include trying new recipes, attending concerts, and hosting board game nights with friends.
