Enlightenment

We’ve all heard phrases like “I feel like I am in the dark” and “I feel enlightened.”  It turns out we might be hard-wired to associate “light” with “knowledge.”

According to this article, people are smarter when they work under bare, incandescent light bulbs than when working under fluorescent light.  Very neat piece of research.
