The American politics version of the OZA Files:

An article about Barack Obama’s ongoing use of a Journey metaphor (specifically a metaphor about driving a car) to persuade people to vote Democratic in the November elections.

Is this an effective use of metaphor?   As long as unemployment remains near 10%, many people probably still see the car in the ditch.
