Corn by any other name...
Thanks to the Associated Press for this one. Consumers are swearing off high fructose corn syrup, so the Corn Refiners Association has applied to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration to change the name of the product – to “Corn Sugar.”
They’ve even rolled out a new TV campaign and website.
Is this enough to shift the consumer frame? Or does "corn sugar" still have some potentially negative connotations?
