The Ultimate Strolling Machine

Stroller

From the New York Times, an article about an interesting example of brand extensions.  Car companies that are extending their brands into strollers.

I’ve seen Jeep strollers plenty of times.  However, BMW and Aston Martin (pictured above) now have entered the stroller game.  The Aston Martin branded stroller (complete with leather interior) will cost you a mere $3,000.

What is going through the mind of the person who buys a BMW or Aston Martin stroller for their infant?  What emotional needs are being served?
