A WestJet Christmas
This is “old news” but it was new to us. So perhaps it is new to you. It is an example of why branded content is so valuable and in demand.
Just before Christmas, Canadian airline WestJet rolled out this outstanding viral video. The company asked travelers on a flight from Toronto to Hamilton to make their Christmas wishes to Santa Claus, who appeared via video in the gate area. When the plane landed in Hamilton, passengers were dumbstruck to find the gifts they had asked for awaiting them at baggage claim.
As of this morning, the video has received 35 million hits.
