Silence
The power of visual imagery is central to what we do at OZ – a metaphor or an image can tell an entire story with no words required.
This collection of 1950s and ‘60s posters for TWA “define the excitement and enthusiasm of the early years of post-war air travel.” The artist, David Klein, studied art in Los Angeles, moved to New York, and churned out work for Broadway shows and innumerable corporate clients. But he is probably best known for his travel posters.
Few words are required. Just “Fly TWA” and the name of the city or country. But the artwork takes you to a place words could never reach. You can feel the soul of each destination just by looking at the picture.
